"Hi, I’m Shelley Anne, 49, from Cheshire, and I still remember the day I made the best decision of my life.
I’d had a drinking problem since I was a teenager. Alcohol gave me the confidence I didn’t have naturally. People would say I was great fun after a few drinks and I believed them.
Over time, I started leaning on alcohol more and more just to get through normal life. To everyone outside my family, I looked fine. They liked the ‘fun me’, but my family didn’t. I ignored the truth for years, hiding behind the fake confidence alcohol gave me. One drink was never enough... and ten still wasn’t too many. I’d be the life of the party until the next morning, when the hang-overs kept getting worse. Eventually, I’d waste entire days in bed feeling awful. That’s when I knew something had to change.
The idea of giving up alcohol was terrifying. Moderation wasn’t an option: I’m all or nothing. Around three years ago, I realised I was fully dependent. I couldn’t do anything without a drink first. Then one day, an ad for Clear Minds popped up on my Facebook. I was sceptical but desperate, so I quietly ordered the alcohol essentials package.
I had my last drink on Sunday 2nd January 2024. On Monday, I started the hypnotherapy sessions, listening at least three times a day. From that moment on, I didn’t touch alcohol again. I had no withdrawals, no strong cravings. I do still drink alcohol-free beer or wine now and then, so I don’t feel like I’m missing out socially, but nothing like the 10+ drinks I used to drink in a night.
I later bought the full Master Collection, so I get every new session and life-time access. I still listen to at least one session every night. Clear Minds achieved something I honestly thought was impossible, it freed me from alcohol addiction.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
